I enjoyed watching pathetic Chelsea play a cowardly, unappealing football much to Mourinho's typial style, and creating less than 2 (two) goal chances. In this case, it'd be funny if he continued claiming the refs were his team's only problem. Chelski had to score goals, and they hardly threatened Barca's keeper. Moaninho was exposed and finally made to shut up. He had to concede Barca was simply the better team. And indeed, after the game, he uttered it half-mouth, implying that there's a chance Rijkaard had outplayed him tactically.

I was only bewildered by the ref's tremendous gaff in the last minute, although indecisive. He prolly submitted to the pressure and awarded a penalty to Chelski, whereas three of their forwards had been in offside position, and there was a clean tackle. But nevertheless, 1:1 or else, Barca kicked the Blues outta the CL. And i'm happy.

So, Arsenal are the only team to defend the name of English football in CL. Elsewhere, (ever) lucky Juve sneaked past unfotunate Werder, who undeservedly suffered the weirdest defeat thanx to Tim Wiese's unique gaff after an outstanding 180 mins of play between the posts. Benfica gave a good lesson to toothless L'pool, Milan demolished german giants Bayern who are still flying high in the Bundesliga, Lyon had some fun against PSV, Villarreal the draw-master eliminated stubborn Gers after two draws, and we're still waiting for Inter and Ajax to decide the 8th quarter-finalist next week.

The 1/8F draw looks this way:

Arsenal v Juventus
Inter/Ajax v Villarreal

Lyon v Milan
Benfica v Barcelona
